Who This Is For

Mining analysts, researchers, creators, junior executives, syndicates, and specialists with insight into exploration and development-stage mining opportunities.

Who can propose a mining basket to Minestarters?

Mining analysts, geologists, researchers and other specialists can propose a basket built around a clear investment thesis. A useful proposal explains the project selection, the evidence behind it and the risks; submission is subject to review.

What should a proposed mining basket include?

Include the proposed companies or projects, allocation weights, capital target, fundraising timeline and proposed fee terms. Explain why the assets belong together and provide source material that supports the selection.

What is a curator responsible for?

A curator proposes the assets, explains the allocation and communicates the thesis and material changes. The role requires evidence that investors and reviewers can challenge, rather than relying on the curator’s reputation alone.

Does a curator’s proposal automatically qualify for fundraising?

No. Minestarters reviews proposed baskets before approval, and approval should not be treated as a promise that investors will provide capital.

How are curator fees determined?

Fee terms need to be agreed for the proposed basket and disclosed to participating investors. A curator should confirm the calculation basis, payment conditions and responsibilities before proceeding; this page does not establish a standard fee rate.

Which responsibilities sit with the curator and which sit with Minestarters?

The curator’s role centres on selection, allocation rationale and communication of the thesis. The proposal review should establish who handles investor checks, administration, custody and reporting, with those responsibilities recorded in the agreed arrangements.
